This particular recipe also marks my grand finale for what has been an incredibly exciting and flavor-packed week: #EasterBrunchWeek! Throughout this special event, I, along with a wonderful group of fellow food bloggers, have been sharing an array of fantastic recipes designed to help you host an unforgettable Easter brunch. However, my hope is that these culinary creations will transcend the holiday, becoming cherished recipes that you turn to again and again, long after Easter has passed.

This week, a vibrant community of bloggers, including myself, united to share our favorite recipes, providing you with an extensive collection of ideas to orchestrate a truly stellar Easter brunch. Our shared goal was not only to inspire your holiday feasting but also to equip you with versatile recipes that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Each recipe was crafted with love and a passion for good food, ensuring there’s something for every taste and occasion.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, I kicked things off by sharing a heartwarming recipe for Pear Bread, a delightful quick bread baked to perfection in my charming new Wildflower Loaf Pan. This bread, with its subtle sweetness and tender texture, is a perfect comfort food that pairs wonderfully with a morning coffee or tea. Then, on Thursday, I unveiled an incredibly unique and fantastic treat: my Puffles recipe. Curious about Puffles? They are innovative Puff Pastry Waffles! I prepared these crispy, flaky delights using my new Flip Waffle Maker, topping them with a dreamy peaches ‘n cream combination that truly elevated the experience. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors. Rounding out my contributions before today’s salad, on Saturday, I shared my much-loved recipe for Upside Down Blueberry Sweet Rolls. What makes these rolls truly special is their simplicity; they are made with just frozen bread dough and three other common ingredients, proving that extraordinary results can come from minimal effort. If you haven’t seen them yet, you absolutely need to take a peek – they’re as easy as they are delicious!
Beyond the Sweets: Savory Brunch Alternatives
While many people associate brunch with an abundance of sweet baked goods, pancakes, and pastries – and my other #EasterBrunchWeek recipes certainly leaned into that delightful tradition – brunch doesn’t have to be exclusively sweet. In fact, for many, the savory side of brunch is where the true magic lies. I personally often gravitate towards more savory brunch fare. Think hearty egg dishes, crispy bacon, succulent shrimp served with a zesty cocktail sauce, or fresh bagels with all the fixings. These types of dishes offer a satisfying depth of flavor that can balance out a sweeter spread or stand proudly on their own. Some of my all-time favorite items to serve when hosting a brunch are decidedly not sweet at all, providing a diverse and fulfilling culinary experience for guests.
- Sausage & Crescent Breakfast Bake: A comforting, cheesy, and meaty casserole that’s perfect for feeding a crowd.
- German Onion Pie (Zwiebelkuchen): A savory tart featuring caramelized onions and bacon in a rich, creamy custard, baked in a flaky crust.
- Muffin Cup Omelets: Individual, customizable omelets baked in muffin tins, making them easy to serve and perfect for meal prep.
- Breakfast Hash Brown Pizza: A fun and flavorful twist on breakfast, combining crispy hash browns with your favorite pizza toppings.
- Southwestern Sausage Brunch Roll-Ups: Spicy sausage and cheese rolled in crescent dough, bursting with southwestern flavors.

Stonyfield’s organic yogurt can be seamlessly integrated into almost any culinary creation. It’s perfect for crafting creamy smoothies, creating flavorful dips, or serving as a wholesome substitute for sour cream on your next taco night. Just like all other Stonyfield products, their quarts are made with only the finest organic ingredients, carefully sourced from dedicated family farms, ensuring quality and taste you can trust in every spoonful.

This recipe exemplifies simplicity and the beauty of fresh ingredients. With just a few basic components and minimal preparation, you can create a side dish that’s both elegant and deeply satisfying. It’s proof that you don’t need complex techniques to achieve incredible flavors.

Preparing this vibrant salad is incredibly straightforward. Begin by thinly slicing your crisp cucumbers and juicy tomatoes. Place these freshly cut vegetables into a large mixing bowl. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the creamy yogurt, a medley of aromatic fresh herbs (like dill, chives, and oregano), a squeeze of bright lemon juice, and a dash of salt and pepper to taste. Once your dressing is perfectly blended, pour it generously over the sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. Gently toss everything together until every piece of vegetable is beautifully coated in the flavorful dressing. For the best flavor and texture, chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the salad to become perfectly cool and refreshing.

Doesn’t that look absolutely irresistible? The vibrant colors and creamy texture promise a delightful culinary experience!
