Ingredients

  • 1 Roma tomato diced small, about 1/4 cup
  • 1/2 jalapeño minced, about 1 Tablespoon
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1-2 teaspoons TABASCO® Sauce
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg white whisked into 1/4 cup water
  • vegetable oil for frying

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup milk + 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon TABASCO® Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Ranch Seasoning mix
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  • To Prepare Dipping Sauce: Mix milk and lemon juice together in a small bowl and let it sit for about 10 minutes (this creates a quick buttermilk). Add the prepared buttermilk to the remaining dipping sauce ingredients: Greek yogurt, TABASCO® Sauce, Ranch Seasoning mix, a pinch of salt, and fresh cilantro. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Refrigerate the sauce until you are ready to serve the egg rolls to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  • To prepare Egg Rolls: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the mashed avocados, minced red onion, diced Roma tomato, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, salt, fresh lime juice, and 1-2 teaspoons of TABASCO® Sauce.
